The Newest Addition To The Genuine Foods Family: Santa Fe Community College

Genuine Foods is delighted to announce our newest partnership with Santa Fe Community College (SFCC). We are proud to expand our family and collaborate with such a prestigious higher education institution.

Nestled in the heart of New Mexico, SFCC has been a beacon of education for over 35 years, serving as a Best for Vets and a Military Friendly school. With an annual enrollment of more than 13,000 students, the college offers a diverse range of credit, noncredit, and adult programs, ensuring educational opportunities for learners from all walks of life.

What sets SFCC apart is its unwavering dedication to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship, which perfectly aligns with our values at Genuine Foods. The college boasts of having a renowned Controlled Environment Agriculture program.  

Picture this--a sprawling greenhouse right on campus where students and local ag-tech entrepreneurs test new methods of cultivating vegetables, fruits, and herbs to support production in environments where outdoor growing is not feasible. Methods include aquaponics, a regenerative system where fish provide the essential nutrients to keep plants healthy. These growing techniques are creating more sustainable and efficient food production across the country.
