High-quality emergency meal options for rapid response situations.
During emergencies and disasters, Genuine Foods you rise to the occasion while raising the bar on food quality and consumer participation in your foodservice programs. Our focus on real, genuine, culturally relevant food makes an uplifting, lasting difference in the lives of those whom we serve and in the communities where we work. It also provides a welcome semblance of comfort during difficult times.
GENUINE’S ADVANTAGES:
Agile and flexible, quick time to launch:
Given there’s seldom a playbook in times of crisis, we adapt to the ever-changing needs of your community through highly flexible operations and structures. With efficient, nationwide shipping and logistics partners, commissaries located in seven states and the ability to set up pop-up facilities where emergencies arise, our adaptive, customizable and responsive program design quickly aligns to your community’s needs.
Multiple meal-delivery options:
Flexibility. It’s what we do, offering a wide selection of high-quality, individually packaged meals. These include from-scratch hot, cold “grab & go,” fresh-chilled, frozen, and shelf- stable — whatever makes the most sense for the situation—with all medical, ethical and religious aspects covered. All emergency meals are even prepared and cooked fresh at one of our commissary kitchens, then delivered where they’re needed most.
Essential, functional food availability:
Nourishing, tasty, immunity-building meals have never been more important than now. That’s especially the case among low-income communities and communities of color. Historically, these communities are more likely to face challenges securing nutritious food, risking the development of diet- related diseases at a disproportionately higher rate than the general population. In recent times, they’ve also faced a greater disease burden from COVID-19. At Genuine Foods, we believe there’s a far more equitable way, so we focus on functional, delicious, nourishing food in our meal design. Food is hope. And we believe good food has the power to heal and provide stability, especially during times of crisis and hardship.
