New Mexico Junior College and Genuine Foods Celebrate Grand Reopening of Thunderbird Lounge and Grill
Genuine Foods is proud to partner with New Mexico Junior College (NMJC) to celebrate the grand reopening of the Thunderbird Lounge and Grill. This updated dining destination reflects our shared commitment to providing high-quality food and creating vibrant spaces for students, faculty, and staff to connect and thrive.
Espresso Program and Rotating Concepts Elevate Campus Dining
At the heart of this transformation is the launch of an espresso program, bringing high-quality coffee and specialty drinks to the NMJC community. Crafted by trained baristas, the program offers classic staples alongside seasonal specialties, adding a fresh energy to campus mornings.
Complementing the espresso program, the Thunderbird Lounge and Grill now features rotating dining concepts, including Buddy’s Burgers, Chicken Shack, House of Fries, and Take Me Out to the Ballgame. These exciting new options ensure variety and appeal for every palate.
A Commitment to Enhancing the Student Experience
“Our goal with this transformation is to not only offer high-quality food but to create a dining experience that engages the campus community,” said Brian Printup, Director of Operations for Genuine Foods. “From the new espresso program to the rotating food concepts, we’re creating more opportunities for students to enjoy fresh, delicious meals.”
Genuine Foods is thrilled to contribute to a revitalized dining experience at NMJC, where every detail—from the menu to the space design—reflects our mission to unlock potential through good food.
Located in the Ben Alexander Student Learning Center, the Thunderbird Lounge and Grill is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
